I am going to be more like you....Thank you, Janet. I am going to be more like you...I am going to pick out a good book, and even if I read one page a day, I am going to at least pick one to start! I am so conscious of what I show and live out in front of my girls these days...I do not want them to be so busy. Relaxing and resting is Biblical! Doing less will be more challenging than I realize...I will let you know how it goes. :)Kari Schooleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01892248499521153684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4812732503845013066.post-4476787039023135452012-04-30T15:11:52.293-05:002012-04-30T15:11:52.293-05:00As a people pleasing person, I totally hear ya. L...As a people pleasing person, I totally hear ya. Lately, though, my guilt comes from NOT doing things. For example, I feel so exhausted tired and like a zombie that I do just the minimum to get by on housework, meals, etc. I find myself collapsing onto the bed and reading, then feeling guilty that my house is a bit messy and that it seems like no one else gets to do that. I have been learning to practice giving every negative guilt message that comes into my head a big dose of 'truth'. It's getting more natural for me to be able to say to myself, "That's not true" and correct the negative thought. Now, I'm not sure when I will be able to ever say that out loud to anyone else! Keep writing, girl! I'm enjoying your blog.Janethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14380956524785211451noreply@blogger.com
